2011 wasn't a good year to begin with for me. In fact, it was a rather bad year as a whole. I shall not elaborate on the bad events for what had happened, has happened and I cannot change it. Nevertheless, I would really want to thank for the supporting souls out there who have helped, comforted me and pull me through all the bad experiences. <3

Nevertheless, 2012 will be a good year! ( I hope! ) There are so many things that I am looking forward to! I have my China trip in Feb and my korean lessons with Shengkang in around March! :) And a new job! :) And so many other things! =D I think I am going USS with my friends next year too! Yipeeeeee! :)

What I have been doing the past few weeks...

1) Movie: You are the apple of my eye
Watched twice with Taylor and Solomon respectively.

Verdict: It's super good! I love the female lead's dimples! :) This show is so funnyyyyyyyyyyy.

2) Movie: Already famous
Watched with Minyi.

Verdict: Okay movie. Funny at certain parts. :)

3) Working as temp sales associate! :D Busy~

4) Art and craft work with Shengkang, Patrick and April! =D After which went to nex for starbucks! =D

5) Youtube! :)
Sometimes I hope I am as talented as kpop singers. They are my age or slightly younger/older but so talented and making money out of their passion. Envious~

That's all I suppose! :D

That day started off with early dinner at subway in amk with Solomon.

While we were there, we made flat paper flowers. Made them in a hurry because we didn't meet early lol! :) You will see the flowers as you scroll down :)

I wasn't feeling very well that day and that the weather is so cold, I got myself hot honey lemon from Gong Cha! :)

Proceeded to train to Sembawang and walk to Canberra Sec for their concert :)

Ended up being early -.- Hahaha :) LOL! And saw Cairong! :) Hehe my piccolo junior :) ( because we have the same conductors so we know each other, I am not from canberra lol! )

And the concert finally starts.

I have to say, the concert was well done. :) It was really engaging and I really enjoyed myself! Probably after not playing or listening to band music for the past 6months. I miss flute a lot, I miss playing in a band and practising till I pekcek a.k.a perfectionism. I may not be the best player who delivers the best music to the audience, but certainly, when I play, I feel a sense of accomplishment. =)

With that, I wonder if I should join band again? Be it community bands/ university bands. I hope I am up to standard! :)

Because Junyang invited me to the concert and texted me that he wants to be unique so must shout his name during the concert too LOL. And everyone wanted Junyang's flower. Having failed to get his, they tried to exchange "Good job!" for "Great job!" Hahaha :) It's the same LOL! My band is so cute, I love them! :)

Actually, I have already started using this lotion! My verdict: It's pretty good! My nose flakes rather frequently so other than exfoliating my nose frequently, I use this as well! So far, my nose don't flake so often now! Feels less dry and smooth now :)) Okay la, this is my first hydrating lotion so I cannot compare how good it is as compared to the others! Haha :)

The cookies! :) It's actually quite yummy. :) But xihuai is a very smart girl, she put it in the fridge before giving it to me. By the time she gave it to me, water has already condensed in the container and the cookies were slightly too moist. :( But I can feel the loveeeeeeeeee so I ate them all up! ( Okay, i shared some with the others too! ) I am a happy girl with chocolate cookies :)

I have them all in 3 shades! Wahaha! :)

Have started using them once A levels ended! :) Using shade 02 for my dark eye rings and blemishes, works pretty well, better than the Daiso concealer! ( Yes, I know I am quite budget but I am still a school kid, no money no income! Shall make do with what I have now :) )

But.. I have to reapply after a few hours.. Does this apply to all concealers? Sorry, I am a make up noob! Someone advice me please! :)

Oh and someone please teach me how to put eyeliner. I am super fail at it. T.T

An example for you. Like if I ask if there is chicken wings for lunch and the fact is there isn't, zhi says yes and pauses for a while and says jack. It just means that you are being tricked or something? Get the idea? Haha I know he is very lame! :) Hehehe :)

I had no make up on my face except concealer on my dark eye rings! :) If you ask why I don't have much eyebags here, that's because I had put an eyemask before I slept the night before! :) I love eye masks! So effective :) And I had good hair day that day! Happy girl! ^^

My 18th birthday! :)

Hello! I am back to blogging! A levels is finally over! I don't know how well I have done but certainly, I have tried my very best for my last lap! :) Whatever the result is, there will always be a way but hopefully, I can get into a local university! So... don't ask me how I feel about the papers okay! It's already over!

Anyway, my birthday is on 6 October! This year, I celebrate my 18th birthday! Like all the other years, I don't really have a big celebration or receive many many gifts! I am thankful for those who remembered my birthday, wished me happy birthday or gave me birthday gifts or treats! :) It really meant a lot to me because... my birthday is always forgotten due to exams and nearing exams! Even I myself forgot my birthday this year! LOL, A levels, what have you done to me?! LOL :)

I am a sad birthday princess! LOL!

There was school on my birthday! It started off really well! I received my very first gift from Solomon while walking to school. Following that, my classmates started wishing me happy birthday. :) ( Still very happy even though they were like " Is today your birthday?! *me nods head* Oh, Happy birthday! " )

GP lesson was the first period. As usual, not many listened in class because lesson was quite boring but hey, I actually liked GP lesson so I listened attentively okay! :) The girls ( hahaha they were so cute and funny ), the thing is, Xihuai prepared a card for me and passed to my clique to write their well-wishes for me. Unfortunately, I was sitting in the middle of all of them and so, they had difficulty passing through me! Serena on my left hugged me to get the card from Yingyng ( Was it her? I think so! ) on my left. *Epic moment*

And Mrs LN was like " What are you doing in the middle of my lesson?! "
Serena, " I suddenly felt like hugging her so I hugged her! " LOL

Actually, I knew what was going on la. They damn fail but I still love them because they are so lovable and cute and thoughtful! * say awww *

At the end of the lesson, I got a birthday song by surprise! ^^ Hehe and I got handmade cookies from Xihuai as well as a card from the girls! So touched! :')

Later on after school, I had a birthday treat at Cafe Cartel, Yishun! :)

I had chicken lasagne! :)

The serving was hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Really.

And it was too tomato-y for my liking. :( Will not order this again.

Nevertheless, I ate it all up!

And I felt super full. Like my stomach was going to explode because...

I had soup, garlic bread and a cup of peach tea before my chicken lasagne LOL.

But cannot waste food! So I ate it all up! :) I am a good girl. :)

And my partner-in-crime a.k.a the generous person who gave me a birthday treat took random photos of me LOL.

Hehe, putting a lot of my photos because I was away from my blog for so long and I was afraid you would miss me. Hehehe there you have it! LOL. I know I look very cui in all the photos but doesn't matter right? - proof that I was studying hard and I was sick on my birthday. :( #thickskinned!

And I got another birthday treat from Zhi on another day! Yewtee korean ramen!

I got chicken cutlet ramen this time round! So sad they removed dumpling ramen after the food court renovated.

And I got more sad when.. my noodles are like... maggie mee now! :((((((

I hope my real ramen comes back. * sobs *

I miss my old ramen!

Nonetheless, the other food there is still nice! Like the tie ban tofu! It's pretty good!

Write about your last birthday and how you plan to spend your upcoming birthday.

Last year, I had school on my birthday and since my birthday was so near to the promotional examinations, I spent my whole afternoon in school after lessons studying. I still remembered that I was doing differentiation hahaha! :) Initially, I planned to celebrate my birthday with D but well, due to studies commitment, we did not meet up. :( Nonetheless, as much as I feel that my birthday wasn't good last year, E made my day! I received a handmade present by E and oh my gosh, I still remember all the girls in my class more excited than me. LOL, I wasn't the first to open the gift hahaha! :) Everyone was like " WOW " :D E was my study buddy throughout the year too. Hahaha! That evening I had no more motivation to study because it was my birthday and so E and I headed to Clarke Quay to talk rubbish., really. Just talk non-stop. I am so chatty HAHA :)

This year, I don't intend to celebrate like every other year actually. It's so near to A levels OMG. Why do my birthdays always fall on examinations or nearing examinations!! >:O I remember I had PSLE mathematics on my birthday and O level physics paper on my birthday. zZz... And it was EOM submission for PW last year on my birthday. I have no life lol. This year, my birthday is going to fall on my study leave but well, I HAVE TO STUDY!!!

And I am feeling very stressed now. I am having anxiety attacks T.T I cannot seem to stop it... T.T RELAX JUNE CALM DOWN!! :((

What did I eat today?
Because I am stressed with all the anxiety attacks, I have been losing appetite and I drank a packet of Vico in the morning and feel like vomiting lol. I did not eat lunch but slept all day to not think about the stress and woke up for dinner which was a really small amount of rice and chicken. I am eating so much lesser than usual. As much as I do not feel like eating, I force myself to eat at least a little so that my body will not be ruined.

I have never felt so stressed before. T.T This is killing me. I am going mad. T.T

How has your life changed over the past year?
Hectic, hectic and more hectic.

What made you smile the most today?
My chemistry improved! I hope that I will never fail chemistry again! Hard work does pays off with the correct studying method. I aim now to study all my other subjects effectively which I haven't found out how to do so. OMG PANIC IT'S GOING TO BE THE END OF JULY.

Describe what you spend most of your time on.
I spend most of my time in school? If you mean free time, I love to read blogs and watch videos. =) I am just stating not describing haha LOL.

As a student, I worry about studies the most. ( duh! ) I haven't been doing very well in school and is trying hard to catch up but everything seems so hard T.T Well, I will still do my best and hopefully I do alright in A levels this year!

I worry about my health too! Being sick so often, I cannot concentrate in class! I make an effort to go school as much as I can even if I am not feeling well. So far, everything is going fine with constant medication. :) Hehehehe.

I worry about D. If you ever see this, stop drinking! Take care of your own health. I am serious.

There are many other things I worry too but shall not type it here... Too lazy :P

Hmm I suppose that means talk about my day? Well, I am sick for the whole week with stomach pain, headache, sore throat and slight flu! Boo! And I am still going to school LOL. After A levels, I will work somewhere... hopefully with a good pay and save lots of money then I will take leave in Feb next year to go China visit grandma! After I come back I will continue working LOL. Erm, if I can get into a local university, that will be great! :) I hope I will get married by the age of 27 and have kids 2-3 years after I get married. I have no other plans now LOL. After all, I am too young to think so much haha! :D

My favourite band... I don't really have one... LOL if you mean symphonic bands then definitely the bands that I was and is in. HAHAHA :D

Let me think... hmm... *thinking hard*

Hmm.. When I was in primary school? :) I have to say that when I was young as a kid, I was so ignorant and innocent like all the other kids! Maybe the only thing that I was different was that I was a hard core mugger when I was in primary school! My grandma always say that I don't eat until I finish my work. Hahaha. :) I have to say that in primary school, my results were constantly slightly above average and I get Bursary every single year! :) I do get praises from Dad but the bad thing was, Mum was always not satisfied with my results so I always try so hard to get her praise but I never did la. -.- But but but... I know in her heart she... 望子成龙 ... and hopes that I do better to do her more proud and for my own good! So... it's not a bad thing after all because it motivates to do well when I was young. :)

When I was young, I loved watching TV programmes and reading storybooks! Goodness, can you believe it was my favourite past time? :D LOL. That always made my day and make me busy all day.

Dad also brings my siblings and I out every single time when he's free for gai gai! We get to eat nice food and explore new places and play! :)

I think my childhood days are really 无忧无虑! Really enjoy myself. :)

My sec3, sec4 and J1 days were pretty good too! :)

Anyway... Here's a short update of my life...

School just reopened and it's getting more hectic! It's term 3 now and A levels are coming soon. Ahhhh... I'm getting stressed and I hope it will not overwhelm me. Blogging is my break. Once I finish blogging, I have to study! :D

I just had Chemistry organic test today and I hope I pass. Oh my gosh I really did study and I know how to do but I don't know why I did wrongly for so many questions! And some were stupid careless mistakes. For once, I think chemistry was a okay paper and I may not fail if I am fortunate enough! I need to buck up even more!!

And there's maths tomorrow. I am so dead.

If you only had 24 hours to live, what would you want to do?

Hmm. I surely wouldn't want that to happen but if it does, I hope I die in my sleep LOL. :)

Well, the first thing I would do is to skip school! :) LOL. I wouldn't want to study for my last 24 hours because it's so mundane.. Boo... Not saying that it's a good choice but... really, I want to do what I really want to do! :)

The next thing I would do is to write letters for every single important individual in my life during the first few hours. Following that, I would get a polaroid ( I will get it no matter what if I only have 24 hours to live ), meet every single important person in my life and take a photo with them and give them the polaroid and the letter I wrote beforehand... so that they remember me! Hahaha :) I feel so thick skinned of all a sudden lol. :)

Then I will come home and pack my stuffs properly! Clean up my sleeping place, my clothes and my laptop ( give it to the next user )! Okay, maybe this would be before I meet up with people and give people. :)

That would probably be night time already... So I will go off to a favourite restaurant for dinner, order what I like and eat. :) Probably a market food centre? I will invite some of my best friends and my family to join me! :) Chit-chat session on the go! :)

After dinner, probably a walk at East Coast Park? Ride a bicycle and enjoy the wind and fun!! :)

If I have a boyfriend, then perhaps I will invite him to my home, hug me to sleep before I leave for another world in sleep. :) Awww I think that will be so sweet. HAHA :D

Well, I really just want to leave the world peacefully if this ever happens to me. :) But right now, I should treasure the time I have because I don't know when I will leave.. That's all that matters now, isn't it? :)

Write about the best friends you've had over the years.

Shall we start off with primary school first? (:
I have 2 closer best friends out of the 4 I have. They are Zhi Hui and Kitty respectively. We used to take neoprints almost everytime we go out, eat together, do all sorts of funny things together, camwhore, etc... But due to a recent misunderstanding, Kitty and I drifted apart. So... you could say that my best friend in primary school is left with Zhi Hui? :) The other 2 best friends I have are Tim Jee and Evangeline. Tim Jee is in the same college with me now, so we still keep in contact. Evangeline, being in different college, we still receive a couple of text from each other, especially about performances! :)

For secondary school, my best friends are Emily and Jastine whom I have been through thick and thin with through sec 1 to sec 4. They, having closer personalities with me, I tend to be closer to them than to my primary school friends. I remembered how we first met sitting in a line according to index numbers, we were just side by side haha! :) I still remember how short Emily's hair was and how Jastine was mistaken by us for a Malay! Those times, will never be forgotten. Then come sec 3 and 4, where Weizhi became my best friend too! :) It's when then we combined clique to form a new clique! :) Till now, we meet up rather frequently and I am thankful for that. :) Not forgetting Yishan and Xenia, who I hardly meet up with due to busy school, but they are friends I still treasure and I am sure they do the same to me too! :) I certainly hope to meet them once A levels is over! :)

Now that I am in a college, my best friends, needless to say, will definitely be Xi Huai and Solomon! :) Xi Huai's from my class and from my orientation group. Perhaps because our birthdays are so close to each other, we click very well and yes, we stick to each other like glue hahaha. :) Even the teachers always say we commit the same mistakes in our scripts too! LOL :) See, great minds think alike LOL. Whereas for Solomon, I knew him through band! Maybe because he's as passionate about band like me when we were J1 and so easy going, we became best friends really fast! Hahaha. :) We always crave for food and adventures hahaha!

My most ultimate friend will be Siyun. She may not be the closest friend I have ( we are still quite close okay! ), but because she's one I grew up with, since kindergaden, same primary school and secondary school... and we still keep in contact in college okay ( She stays so near to me that I can find her anytime haha! :) ), I can relate to her really well... :) Hehe...

Then come Taylor, I knew him since primary 4... but we have only gotten close when we were sec 2! I remember how he love to "suan" me being short, dumb, etc whenever we go out! Haha, but that doesn't matter because he rocks LOL! Sometimes when I am sad or bothered over some issues, he will be there to comfort me. :)

I am glad over the years I kept my best friends... I really treasure relationships and I hope misunderstandings between each other will never happen to me again... ( like how Kitty and I ).. it only turn relationships sour and it's not easy to forget... I hate this kind of feeling. I always tell myself I don't need a lot of friends, I just need a couple of best friends here and there, that will be enough. I need to be contended in life and they are my source of contentment and happiness. :) Despite busy schedules, I always hope to fork out time to spend with them! Be it study dates or dinner dates, they are still quality time spent. I love every single one of them. I am really thankful to not have friends who come and go every now and then. I am so fortunate. :)

Yes! I got the one in gold second-hand! =)

Woohoo! So happy! My Samsung NV24HD camera's screen was spoilt and it was a little hard for me to take photos without a screen! It's working fine without the screen, one day when I am free, I will send it for repair! ^^

Nevertheless, this camera is awesome! 14.1 mp, 14x zoom, fish eye, miniature effect... What I love most is the fast shutter speed! Hardly any blurry photos anymore even if my hands shake! ^^

New camera, so what now? TEST SHOTS DUH! ^^

Having stepped down from my post in CCA, I have to pass down whatever I have to! So, I followed the juniors to guide them to do documentation for CIP! My usual 15mins documentation became an hour plus! Hahaha, we had fun and had a mini "welfare outing". LOL!

Yes! I have finally stepped down from band after 2 years...

I was being appointed the Welfare Rep, taking over Ting Qiang's post.. (:

I was kinda sad when they left us...

They made band so enjoyable for us juniors...

And on 25 May 2011, we as the J2s had to leave them ):
I will definitely miss them like mad... Even though it's only 4months... All of us have that kind of bond..

I feel so happy for them, 2 this year! Being a welfare rep myself, I know it's not easy one... Because the band's welfare rep is like a combination of posts...

Under the school's radial leadership system..
We are welfare ambassador cum CIP ambassador..

Taking care of people's welfare as well as planning and doing CIP..
but it's not as easy as said..

Welfare reps in my band plan CIP like a president planning events with much difficulty as well as many a times, it involves external organisations..

Planning CIP also involves collecting LOTS of particulars and sending information.. just like a secretary!

Welfare reps buy food, buy badges.. all these involves money.. and we collect like a treasurer...

There are many more things to do... sometimes when I do, I get so stressed up...

I am so glad that there are 2 appointed this year, they can share each other's workload! (: Hehehe!

She's my most favourite junior because she will miss me the most I reckon! LOL.

I certainly not wish that today will be the end of the world or life. I hope there will be no destruction. No earthquake, no tsunami, no natural disasters...

It's just a couple more hours to US's morning!

I may not be a Christain but I do understand that life is short and we must live it as fulfilling as possible.

I still have many things that I want to do in life, take for example, marriage. I really want to get married and build a family! =) I want to be a housewife, doing chores for my kids and husband, cooking for them, enjoying every single day with them, sharing joy and sorrow with them. That is happiness to me. (:

I want to grow up and earn money to provide for my parents! Seeing them work so hard, I always wish that they can retire as soon as they could when I get a full time good paying job! They deserve a good break after years of hard work!

If the world really ends today, what happens to the kids born today? Will they die together with us? If they did, that would be so sad! They see the light for a few hours only and that's the end of their lives.. Kids born recently as well.. They are so innocent and cute....

Imagine if the world really ends today, approximately night over here in Singapore, my concert will be ruin! HAHAHA my school's having a combined performing arts concert today! Our performance will not completed. :( Boo! And it will be the last time I will be playing the flute... It's like I have this feeling towards flute after playing for years... Even though I am just an average player, flute playing seems that it plays a big role in my life. I hope to have opportunities to play in the future as well. (:

Sorry for the lack of updates! Been really busy in school with CIP, CCA, Exams and homework! ): I promise posts soon! (:

Well, like what the title states, I am blessed in life! ;D

2010 was a bad year for me. A really bad one. Many unhappy things happened.

But... I believe that the remaining 2011 is going to be a great for me!

First of all, my health got really bad in 2010. Never in my life I fell sick so often that even western medicine don't work on me! Haha, so now, I am on long term chinese medication! I am getting better now, more frequent in school and have much more energy! ^^v Hopefully I will get well soon, like the good old days in secondary school and primary school, to have full attendance of the whole year. ( for most years ) :D

Secondly, my results are improving slightly now! Well, at least for maths and chemistry. With my health status improving, I can now focus better on studies! With no unhappy things in my head to distract me, I feel happier studying! ^^v

Thirdly, my misunderstanding with one of my most loved friend was cleared recently! YAY! It would be such a pity to lose a friendship because of a misunderstanding. I am so glad everything's over now! YAY! :D

Next, my awesome friends and family. Without them, I would have broke down and went crazy in 2010.

Last and not the least, that one special person who stayed by me throughout, guiding me through the darkness and bringing me out to light. :')

I am so blessed in life. Even though the weather is so hot now, life's always cool with my great bunch of friends and family in my life!

No matter how tough life gets, I will endure! (:

In case you didn't know, Eskimo serves my favourite bubble tea! I always order Super Bubble Milk Tea, 70% sweet! The difference between super bubble milk tea and mini bubble milk tea is the pearl size. Super has the bigger pearls while mini has the mini ones! (: Do give it a try if you LOVE milk, seriously. (: Personally, I feel that it's better than Koi but well, people's preference varies from one to another. (:

Oh by the way, the Eskimo in Esplanade Xchange has better milk tea than the one in Dhoby Ghaut but the one in Dhoby Ghaut has better pearls! :D

Yes, I have been a good girl, mugging all day long!! (: Block tests are after March Holidays, what a way to place exams straight after holidays to make sure holidays are not wasted! Well, time is not sufficient! Oh no! ):

If you have seen my status on Facebook, my samsung NV24HD camera is spoilt! ): And the warranty has already expired. ): There's this crack beneath the screen, highly suspected by my friend due to external pressure! ): The above photos you seen above at zhi's house and mos burger are taken by my spoilt camera after being spoilt. I still can take photos but with no image on the screen of course. Pardon me for the lousy pictures! Still waiting for Samsung to reply about the repair cost! If the cost is really expensive, I shall consider a new camera, perhaps Samsung ST700! ^^ Hehehe! (:

I know I still owe a lot of blog posts, especially the Hong Kong ones. There are seriously too many photos taken during that trip! I promise to post that up soon, after my blocks! My blocks end on the coming friday! Wish me luck! ^^

We took a shuttle bus from Jurong East to NTU! Kailing just got her A level results and got me to accompany her to visit the open house in NTU. (:

NTU sure have some ways to attract people to come! Free yogurt drink and beancurd! ^^

It's the second time YJ Fluboes section had an outing again! (: This time round, we planned to go to settlers' cafe at Clarke Quay! (:

All of us who went except Linying met at Ang Mo Kio to go there together! We weren't a full section that day but nevertheless, we had lots of fun that day! (:

So we boarded the train down to Clarke Quay and met up with Linying and proceeded to Settler's Cafe! (: It was my first time at the Clarke Quay branch! (:

We played only one game that day - Dirty Minds! (: As introduced by Gam! Hahaha! (:

Basically, this game is not about being dirty actually. It's a game whereby you need to guess a certain word after listening to clues or a paragraph. However, the clues or the paragraph has descriptions that seem to sound dirty. In order to win this game, you need to have a pure and innocent mindset! (: This game is for 4 players.. However, 8 of us attended that day so we split ourselves up into 4 teams of 2. It's pretty much of a challenging game. Not that tough if you think hard enough, really! (: Oh and for each player/team, he/she/they will get one booklet. This booklet will be different from other players so you can never know what you need to guess! :D

As usual, students like me have half day school on this day! (: The day started off with 2 periods of normal lessons and then, celebration! (: I would say my school's celebration this year was so so much better than last year and that I really enjoyed it a lot!

My class brought too little things for the hamper making and so, we ran to the canteen and bookshop to get stuffs during that period of time! Nevertheless, we made a hamper with the items arranged in a 'Fu' character and wrapped it up nicely! A pity it toppled after a while. ):

The celebration ended relatively early that day! Met up with the seniors cum alumni in Northpoint! Had lunch together and then, took bus to Ang Mo Kio for Koi! Haha!

Hong Kong; Day1 ( part 1 )

Yes, finally the long awaited for Hong Kong post! I'm sorry that I took too much time to complete it but nevertheless, they are ready! (: Let's start off with day1! (:

My school's flight was a morning flight, departing Singapore at 0940. So, in order to make sure everything's fine before boarding the plane and waiting for potential latecomers, we were all required to reach the airport at 6.30am! Early uh!!

In order to save money, Solomon and I met really early to take bus to the airport! And we reached the airport rather early! So proud of ourselves! (:

As time passes, more and more band members came! There were also other school's band members who are boarding on the same flight with us. (: At that time, I was really super excited! I have never been to Hong Kong before! ;D

Very soon, everyone was done with checking in and it was time for a group shot!

CNY celebration for the old folks at Chong Pang CC

Hello! Remember in one of my previous post I mentioned about my flute duet in Chong Pang! Yes, it's over now! My duet partner was Solomon, hehe! (:

For those who are asking me how was the performance, I would say we did not play as well as our practice! ): But it was still pretty good because it's our first ever performance performing for 1000 plus old folks! Imagine standing on the stage, just of the two of us, with no band or conductor, a few mistakes here and there and not much of claps from the audience... But nevertheless, it was a good experience!

We didn't manage to take any video recording of ourselves but I guess one of our teachers did. If we happen to get hold of the video, I will post it up here ok! (: For your info, I was really scared when performing! Stage fright haha! (:

While practising our duet and slacking in our waiting room, we took MANY camwhore shoots!

Last weekend, I met up with Solomon and Shiying to go Bugis! Shiying had to go to Sim Lim Square to get her charger while Solomon and I, in preparation for our coming duet performance this sunday, we went to Bras Basah and Esplanade Library to look for chinese songs that are suitable for the elderly! (:

Solomon and I had a hard time looking for scores, only to settle with a vocal score that we took home for reference and arranged our own music! (: Hehehe, so proud of ourselves! Oh, we met one of our band mate, Chris, in Bras Basah too!(: On our way to meet Shiying, we went to Eskimo for Super Bubble Milk Tea. I tell you, this bubble tea taste better than Koi ( in my opinion ). Do try it if you happen pass by Eskimo. I usually go to the one in Dhoby Ghaut Exchange and Esplanade Exchange.

Today's the first day of school! Well, maybe not for me because I had make up lessons since last week but yeah, today's still the official first day of school for most JCs! (:

School was pretty well today, with new class appointments, lessons and band in preparation for this Wednesday's Open House! (: I hope to see some of my juniors coming to my school but I guess not, because my secondary school is so far away from my current school! Hehe.

There is a new cafe in our school's art gallery and xihuai and I bought waffles! It wasn't worth it I would say, who eats cold waffles! But I heard from the rest that food such as sandwiches are pretty good! (:

I may not reply because I am not in the best of mood but I really am thankful for the wonderful friends I have out there! I may have lost a close friend of mine who should have got her facts right and not assumed everything ( but that doesn't matter anymore because I have already lost her and shouldn't brood over it anymore ) and with so many other unfortunate things that happen this year, I am certainly glad that there are still people out there who understand me and care for me! Even those who I am not close with, thanks for your concern! (: I am really looking forward to the new year, I hope they will be better! (:

2010, the bad year & 2011 resolutions

Sigh, this year is seriously a bad year for me...

I just came back from a trip to the hospital.. The minute I reached home from outside, my uncle vomits blood and i had to call the ambulance and rush down together with him and my Dad. This is how I am going to celebrate my new year's eve. Sigh.

Second, I had family matters all the way from China linking back to Singapore early this year which resulted a great impact on my family and my life. Till now, we are not yet stable financially.

Third, I had friendship problems. I got involved in the drama of A and B. B saw the messages between A and myself from A's phone and misunderstood it because B only saw the last part. It's okay to misunderstand but... having known me for so many years.. B have yet to understand that I am not a relationship breaker. There is no need to explain because B wrongly judged my character. Even if I wanted to explain, would B give me and A a chance to explain? I doubt so. I'm willing to let go of this friendship. Sigh. When I told C, before I even said anything, she already understood my point of view and my intentions, if only B can think this way. There was another problem with D which, thankfully, we remained as friends!

Next, my studies! Never been so tough before and I almost retained.

Also, I kept on falling sick this year. Never once a year I fell sick more than 20times! My MCs are countless this year. Besides that, I had allergy reaction with Aspirin which caused me a near death experience coming along with an Asthma attack.

Fortunately for me, I have E this year! If not for E, I would have surely collapsed and gone crazy or even, get depression. E is the best listening ear, the best adviser and the best friend I could ever have. We share common interests and hang out very often! Never in my life, someone like E appeared and click so well with me! E and I have similar character too! Thanks E, I love you! (: You are the best! ^^

Although this year was bad, I'm glad I still have something to be thankful for! I hope next year would be a better year for me.

Nevertheless, I still have new year resolutions for 2011!
1) To be more hardworking, study hard and try to excel for A levels!
2) Get a decent job after A levels! Earn lots of money and clear all financial problems!
3) To stay strong and healthy!
4) Save money!
5) To be contented with what I have.
6) Hopefully, not to get involved in any real life dramas anymore, I hope no one will ask me for help, lesson learnt!

I guess that's all for now.. Got to sleep now.. I haven't been catching much sleep these few days worrying and thinking over things.. Pray hard for my uncle k! I hope he gets well soon! (:

Merry Christmas everyone! (: So, what did you did for Christmas? :D

Well, my Robinsons friends and I baked some Christmas cookies for Christmas the last weekend. Teehee! :D ( Which I ate it all up already! :P )

All of us except Jastine, met up at Admiralty at 1.30pm and did some shopping at the supermarket nearby. After which, we all proceeded to my house to prepare for cookie baking! We had to rush a little because April had work in the evening! Jastine came shortly after that.

We had 2 recipes to bake. With no time to waste, we all start work! Most of us, being first-timers, followed the recipe closely, fearing of any mistakes.

JC Band fest 2010

Side note: Merry Chirstmas eve to everyone out there! :D Hehe!

Shortly after coming back from Winter Band Festival in Hong Kong, along with Darian, Pamela, Huixuan, and Solomon, we joined the JC Band Fest. (:

This festival consists of 4 days of rehearsals and 1 day of concert. An extremely good experience as we have to learn how to side read the concert pieces and play it to a certain standard and then, perform in Esplanade.

The 5 of us returned back to school before the festival starts and we collected our concert pieces and get to know which band we were in. In this festival, we will be split into 2 bands - Holst band and Wagner band. I was in the Wagner Band, along with Solomon and Darian whereas for Huixuan and Pamela, the other band. (: When we got our pieces, we realised it wasn't easy! ): Thereafter, I went over to Solomon's place to practice a little to prepare myself for the festival where we will see many more other players from other JCs who are better than us.

On day 1, all of us reported to NIE for our first band practice. The day started off with an opening, a briefing and reporting to our respective bands.

After which, we proceeded on with games.

My group started with self-intro and clapping for one another! Hahaha!

At noon, we went for lunch! Our first experience eating in NIE canteen. The food there aren't too bad. :D

Band practice starts after lunch. The same routine for everyday. Just playing through pieces, sectionals in the morning at times, correcting our mistakes, trying to get the best we can out of the pieces within a short period of time and having fun! (:

And did I mention that every participant of the JC Band Fest has to join the choir to sing one of the pieces that the Alumni Band is playing? (:

Finally the day came. We had rehearsals in the afternoon before our performance. Playing in Esplanade is definitely so different from playing in other places! My first time there and I loved it! :D

When it's time for the actual concert, everything turned out pretty smoothly, with a few hip-cups here and there! I am glad the festival and the performance is a success and this surely become an unforgettable experience for me! :D

By the way, Wagner Band played Country Gardens, Overture to Kingdom Hearts, American Graffiti, Chorale and Shaker Dance and The Nutcracker Variation. :D And I play flute 2 for all pieces!

Clique chalet

About a week ago, I had a chalet with my JC clique. The chalet was at HomeTeam NS Pasir Ris.

A pity I had JC band fest that day, so I was the last to reach the chalet. I reach there at approximately 10pm, due to the fact that I was lost in Pasir Ris Park and that I went over to eHub to help get some things needed for the bbq. Raymond and Xingho were kind to pick me up from eHub and bring me to the chalet.

When I reached, everyone was playing card games. And finally, the bbq can get going. Due to the rain earlier before I reached, they could not set up the fire for the bbq and thus, were dying of hunger waiting for the rain to stop, as well as waiting for me to reach.

Everyone helping out with the bbq. All of us took turns to bbq food for each other! Sweet uh! (:

Finally, it was the guys' turn to bbq the food! Xihuai, Xiaomei and I went to the play some swings! (: These swings indeed remind us of our childhood. Life as a kid is definitely better than being a teenager studying in JC. So stressful! ):

After having so much fun, we finally went to eat! Maybe because we were hungry, the food taste extremely good. Otherwise, its because our clique has good bbq-ing skills. Hahaha! (:

Xingru, being a nice guy, was pouring drinks for everyone. Appreciated that! (:

Soon, it was about 12am and the girls went to bathe while the guys continued bbq-ing and eating! (: I tell you, our room was the biggest among the four rooms. The girls' room have a pretty big toilet inside! Yay! (:

We had our very own karaoke session after all of us bathed. Music from our phone speakers and singing along with it. We did not care about going out of tune or what so ever. We just had fun and madness! Hahaha! (:

At 2am, I felt really tired, partly because I was sick, so I went off to sleep first, while Xihuai and Xiaomei continued talking! I don't know if they slept or not, but I slept soundly. (:

The next morning, we woke up exceptionally early. No one will ever wake up as early as us in a chalet. Hahaha! (: Xihuai had lesson for work to attend to, while I needed to go home to get my blazer for my concert performance and rehearsal in the afternoon and night! Thank God I wasn't tired, if not I surely could not perform! (:

Settlers' Cafe! (:

On one of the sundays, I met up with the robinsons people at J8 for lunch! ;D

Sheng Kang's finally back from Australia and he bought us chocolates! Yay thanks!! :D I am still enjoying the chocolate hahaha! ;D We settled our lunch at Pastamania. I had baked rice that day. ^^

Patrick bought us cute mini bread keychains from Hong Kong too! It is so cute that I hanged it on my camera! Thanks Patrick! :D Hohohoho, I will find more of those when I go Hong Kong haha!

There after our satisfying lunch, we went to cotton on to look at some clothes. A pity none caught our attention and so, we left the shop empty-handed.

As it was still early and we had nothing on that day, we decided to head to settlers' cafe for some games! We went to the one in SMU, dhoby ghaut. The rates there are pretty reasonable, $8.90 worth of play time till 6pm with free flow of drinks! Otherwise, it's $2.90 per hour. Service there is pretty good, lots of patience to teach you the instructions of new games you play. You get comfortable sofas and brightly lit lights, making the place full of vibrance! It you happen to be a photographer or love to take photos, it can become a cheap studio HAHAHA! The pictures later on will show you why. (:

The first game we played was squeaky! It's a game full of rats! LOL. The aim of this game is to get as many points as possible! So, in order to get points, you have to finish the route with your rat or to eat other rats! That day, I was the one with the lowest points haha! Oh well! It was a fun game, really! Fun game eating each other's rats up! Wakakaka.

After the game, we played taboo, the Singaporean version! ( Oops there are no pictures of this here! :X ) This game is super funny! The way your friends describe a particular object or movie or what so ever to you can be so random! Take April and Brian for example. April needs to get Brian to guess the word " Titantic " and so, she describe it as it's a movie with the same director as Avatar, lalalala. Brian guessed all kinds of movies but no, he did not get it! Haha! (:

Another funny one, when April needed Brain to guess " Last words ", April describe the two words as " something you say before you die. " And Brain replied, " I love you! " LOL! I laughed like crazy for this one!

There are so many funny things that happened in this game, I cannot list all out! Ahh! LOL :D

Next, we proceeded on with the game, Monopoly deal! I love this game to the max! I played it over and over again in class, especially during PW lessons ( when we finished our work of course ) or after school! This game is just so addictive!

This game is not like the normal monopoly we play.. It's way more fun than it! (: To win, you have to get three complete set of properties! Try the game out, and you will know what I am referring to.

Lastly, we played the game, Bang! This game requires a lot of thinking skills! And is super confusing and complicated for newbies!

Time just passes by extremely quickly when we are having fun! Before we go, we made settlers' cafe look like a studio by taking lots of group pictures!

I met up with my two loves, Pei and Hui, on Sunday last week! (:

And so, the day started off at our hometown, Admiralty! (: Pei and I were punctual people and so, we walked to the bus stop near Hui's house to wait for her! (:

While waiting, Pei ate her apple she brought from home and we did some camwhore! :D

And so, we made our way to the station! It was raining heavily that day, we were hoping that Orchard had no rain because we planned to go Far East to get some sunglasses! (:

Being hungry most of the time, we went to eat chicken rice in Far East despite having lunch before meeting up. (:

This chicken rice stall is located on the top floor of Far East and is rather famous! (: This stall is definitely sells one of the nicer or nicest chicken rice you can ever find! :D I cannot remember the name of the shop but it sells only chicken rice and the inside of the shop is quite blue and bright.

There, we were being greeted by chicken rice, yes just chicken rice! :D

With that, we finally left Far East Plaza and proceeded to Cineleisure for some neoprints! :D

We came back after a while and did some talking! Soon, the hungry clan becomes hungry again! We headed to Centrepoint for Macdonald's this time round. ( Goodness. I cannot believe we ate so much that day! )

There was early dismissal from School on Wednesday due to OP the next day! (: The girls and I went for lunch at Subway in Northpoint! (: They wanted to eat Long John Silver's but because of my sore throat, we settled for Subway instead. So sweet of them. (:

Pardon me for my ugly hair that day. I was sick so I couldn't be bothered to even, let down my 'feelers', if that is what it is called, haha! (:

Xihuai and I had meatball marinara while Xiaomei had Subway melt. Yums! (:

Soon, Xingho came over to join us! And there, my camera starts snapping pictures of him and Xihuai! They are such a cute couple (soon to be)! Awwww! (:

There were so many lights to see that we had to go twice to finish looking at all the lights, in fact not all, because we could not find some and so.. we missed out on them. ):

My group faced some technical difficulties at the start of OP. We couldn't connect the laptop to the projector. ): After having a professional's help, we could then start our presentation smoothly! Thank goodness I didn't stumble much! ;D My group members did relatively well too! Hooray! ;D

New phone! :D

Yes, I have finally gotten myself a new phone, hooray! (:

Rest in peace, my old phone, for you are spoilt. ): Say hello to my new phone! (:

Daddy brought me to Sim Lim Square to get my new phone. Unfortunately, my mobile plan is not yet due and thus, I could only get a phone within my daddy's budget! ): And so... I got myself a phone manufactured in China! (:

Anyway, in case you don't know, China phones imported have gone through checks in Singapore to make sure they can be used in Singapore! They are of better quality than those bought in China :P

Woohoo! It's a touch screen! (:

Hehehe, the screen is like HTC! (:

Yay, I got the same phone as Daddy now! That explains the big keychain because I don't want Daddy to take my phone to work by mistake! And those who message me wouldn't want to message my Daddy, right? (: Hahaha! (:

This phone has a number of applications, like Opera Mini! Opera Mini is like a internet browser, not a Opera watching application, in case you are wondering. This phone can also do a lot of things, like facebook ( using facebook mobile or snaptu ) , twitter, ebuddy, skype and MSN! I have yet to try ebuddy, skype and MSN.. I hope it's user-friendly! You can also write on the screen, it detects the correct word you are writing quite well! (: The speaker of this phone is pretty loud too but at the same time, not too loud if you are using earphones.

The bad thing about this phone is the camera, pretty blurry and the image appears to be large on the screen. Like if an object is very far from you, but the object appears pretty large to you on the camera, I hope you get what I mean. Another bad thing about this phone is that you cannot view images that are larger than 1KB, if I am not wrong, because all my files smaller than that can be seen on the phone, while the larger ones cannot.
Oh anyway, most stores in Sim Lim will tell you that China phones can only Wifi and not Data Plan. Be sure to ask around, because some stores can help you adjust the settings and tada, you can use Data Plan if you have! (:

I went to Orchard on one of the days and got myself a new pair of white ribbon flats and a pearly bracelet from Cotton On and 3new hairbands from Far East! (:

There was sale going on in Cotton Sale. This pair of flats I got cost me just... 5 dollars and... 2dollars for my bracelet! (: So happy! :D

The three of us, Xihuai, Xiaomei and myself, made a promise to each other before exams that we will go out for shopping one day! So, the day arrived finally! (:

We met up to go to Bugis together! (: First stop was the toilet, where Xihuai tried to put make up on Xiaomei's face! I tell you, at that point of time, it was really hilarous because Xiaomei was struggling haha! (: And so, Xihuai just put eyeliner for her. What's more, I was being 'attacked' too! Haha, but mine wasn't that bad, mine was just her putting foundation on my face (: Hehehe! =)

Next stop was neoprints! :D I love neoprints to the max! We chose the most new machine there and tata, snap, snap and snap! I don't know why, neoprint is just different from taking normal photos with cameras or webcams or what so ever photo taking machines.. (: I just enjoy it, I believe most girls enjoy it too! :D

After which, we went to walk around Bugis Street! (: I saw this pair of brown heels and blazer that I really liked, but decided not to buy because I just bought a lot of things from Far East the day before I met them out. (: Hehe! So proud of myself! =)

Soon, we were tired and hungry! We headed for Bugis Junction's Food Junction, for Dao Xiao Mian! (: I tell you, this bowl of noodles may be expensive ( $6 for a bowl ) but definitely worth the money! =) You get quality soup and noodles, really! It tastes totally different from those normal Ban Mian you can find! (: Oriental food lovers will definitely love this! Xiaomei and I ordered the chicken one, which comes with 3 chicken drumlets, while Xihuai ordered the beef one! (:

Studying for A-levels Chinese!

A-level Chinese Examination is tomorrow! With such a major examination coming, almost everyone panicks and studies hard for it! That's our sense of urgency, perhaps a little too late, haha! (:

Chinese, being my strongest subject ( actually not that good but considered not that bad ), some of my friends asked me for help to help them revise their Chinese.

So yesterday.. I went down to Yew Tee to meet up with Weizhi! The day started off with our early lunch at 11am, at Yew Tee Square's foodcourt! (: We ate Astons! In case you do not know, eating Astons at foodcourt is cheaper than eating at their restaurants. $1 cheaper but still, the same quality! (:

While waiting for our food to be served, Weizhi and I facebooked! I showed him my PW Oral Presentation dry run video recording too! When it's my turn in the video, I cannot help but laugh at myself. It's just... so funny! :D

I love this store a lot too! Unlike some Korean cuisine stores at some food courts, they give real noodles made of dough, not maggie mee. But this applies to number 10! This store gives maggie mee for KimChi noodles I think, which is number 9! (: And they give a generous potion of 5 fried dumplings! And it's only $3.90! Haha, I seem to be doing an advertisment for them! (:

After our dinner, we went back to Choa Chu Kang Library for Chinese! (: After much studying, we felt tired and I went to get a Mr Bean Ice-cream! Hehe! (: While eating, we walked around Lot 1. (:

It's been a really long time since I went to Lot 1. I used to go there frequently when I was in Secondary school! (:

Red Camp in NP 2009

Now that I am in a college, I always thought how life would be for me if I went to a polytechnic instead. I still remember how much I wished to get into Early Childhood Education in Ngee Ann Polytechnic but... I don't know why I ended up in a college.

So here it goes.. my memories of the Red Camp!

Yup, I joined the Red Camp because apparently, I really, really wanted to enter NP for the course I wanted. This red camp will held from 17november to 19november in 2009.

PS: I still remember parts of the camp okay! I kept a short writeup of it in the past and managed to find it, heh! (: And and and, pardon me for the lousy pictures and small pictures because they were uploaded using Blogger long time ago! Beware, long post ahead too!

So yup, on the 17 November, it was a Tuesday! And also, the first day of Red Camp! Gosh, I still remember how excited I was to receive the notification from NP that I could attend the Red Camp, hehehe! :D Sounds like a kid uh? (:

Red Camp started early in the morning. Being an excited kid, I woke up exceptionally early that day, haha! (:
Met up with Jastine, Xenia, Weizhi, Zhaowei and Eugene at Woodlands interchange to go NP together.

Oh I still remember, Jastine was a blur sotong that day, she took 960 from Bukit Panjang down to Woodlands, which took a long time to reach and so, she came pretty late! :X Doesn't matter though, because we still caught the shuttle bus to NP and in fact, reached there rather early too! Hahaha! (:

Oh, did I mention that my two best friends in my secondary school were Emily and Jastine? No? Now you know! How can Jastine and I, with Weizhi, Zhaowei and Eugene, miss Emily out? We met her at the bus stop outside NP because she stays near NP! *envy* Haha, perhaps if I stayed nearer to NP, I would have went there for sure!

Being unfamiliar to the surroundings of NP, we looked for the convention hall like some foreigners and then registered ourselves for the Red Camp.

We then proceeded to our tribe, the Vikings! All the green and horny people that you can find in NP. I still remember all of us had to wear green tees to identify ourselves as the Vikings. (:

The day started with cheers. It was kind of anti-climate because everyone were strangers. I was shy as well, really! (:
The first cheer we learnt was the "vikings oi!" cheer! (:

And finally, after some proper cheering, we went into the convention hall for the opening ceremony! There were goodie bags on the chair for every single one who went. I loved the cute badge and name tag especially. ( No pictures sorry, because I think I forgot I had a camera at that time haha! (: )

The opening ceremony was awesome. Really. The cheer leading team and the percussion band ( I cannot remember the name of the groups but they were from NP ) really displayed the spirit of NP. So high and enthusiastic! The respective tribe videos and the NP video were being shown too!

Anyway, I really think Vikings was the best tribe for my fellow schoolmates who went for the Red Camp too. Our school uniform is white and green, and some are really pretty horny! Oops! (:

After the opening ceremony, there was a tour around the school. The Vikings went to school of media, health sciences and humanities! =D

Lunch was KFC, provided by NP. So generous of them! (: In a camp, food is one of the most important component. Having good food means the day can be a more satisfying one! ;D
When we went to the school of humanities, into the chinese media department, the students there taught us how to make a panda! They could make really cute ones! I tried to be funny, and made a 'Ash panda' out of the plasticine given. You know, Ash from Pokemon? :D Heh! Feeling so childish now X_x

We went to school of sciences as well. And they showed us and...
EXPERIMENT ON LIQUID NITROGEN!!!!

I have never seen liquid nitrogen before! O_O

The scientist poured liquid nitrogen over marshmallows and biscuits... they freezed within a minute and we ate it! There was no poison at all! (: Perhaps you may want to research on the temperature of liquid nitrogen to understand how it could freeze the food within such a short time. One minute is really short! If I am rich, I could get liquid nitrogen and pour it over cans of drinks to get cold can drinks and drink it whenever I wish! *Wishful thinking, heh!*

Jastine and Emily left early while the rest of us stayed on. ( I cannot remember why they left early haha! )

Our next stop was Health Sciences and we got this pot of plant! =D ( I cannot remember why too! )

Yup, so we learnt about Nursing there too! How they played with dumbies hehe :D

After a long tiring day of walking, we returned to convention centre and played survival! This game is pretty fun to play! It's like a quiz, yet more interesting. It's also a challenge, yet more exciting. How should I describe it? Hmm. Just know it's fun! (: And the winner was the Aparches!

Very soon, evening came and we could go home! I met up for dinner with Jastine instead and accompanied her to shop for a pink hoodie! (: After which, I went home and slept early that night because I was so tired!
The next day, 18 November, a Wednesday. It started off in the early morning too! Weizhi, Zhaowei and Eugene didn't come. ): Met up with Jastine and Xenia at Woodlands interchange, took the shuttle bus and met up with emily as usual. I cannot remember much for this day but the main focus is the lunch!

Lunch was from Breeks! So generous of NP again! (: We had pasta, brownie and a drink! (: A satisfying meal!

After lunch, we went to school of engineering(: They organised this luge constructing competiton and there, we were being formed into groups to compete!

The last day of Red Camp, 19 November, a Thursday. Met up with Weizhi, Zhaowei, Eugene and Jastine. Xenia went with her other friend, if I didn't remember wrongly. (: Like the two other days, we took a shuttle bus down to NP and met up with Emily at the bus stop. (:

That day, we went to np's adventure park and played with low elements! (: We also had a tour at their "hdb flats". Looking at their apartments, it just seem better than my own house and I wished I could have moved there. Haha! (:
After which, we returned back to convention centre and had to break two records!

First, the hokey pokey dance...we had to dance for 5mins! O_O

The last event of the Red Camp was... the Hop Night! (: All I remember was it was loud and dark, like clubbing in some pubs! Jastine and Emily had fun dancing while I watched them dance! Hahaha! (: I seriously got no dance talent!

And soon, it was late at night and it was time to go home! (:

Yup, so Red Camp ended this way! (: I would say it's a pretty good experience, to understand how NP works and to know the criteria for entry as well. So.. to juniors, do give me a go! You will surely enjoy it! (:

Aspirin, you almost killed me, but...

I believe if you had read my facebook status or my MSN status a few days ago, you would have know I’ve gotten an allergy reaction with Aspirin.

I really want to thank all those who messaged me, commented on my facebook, called me or through whatever means to reach me and showed concern towards me. Thank you! I love you all! ^^

Well, I have never gotten in contact with Aspirin before till Thursday night. I had headache and stomachache, and the usual medicine I take, had finished. And so, my mum suggested that I take Aspirin. No one ever knew, including myself, that I actually was allergic to Aspirin. An hour later, I had asthma attack and high swelling around my eyes. When I looked into the mirror, I could not recognize myself. Really. That’s how bad the swelling was. Even my parents got a shock of their lives.

When I went to the doctor, with sunglasses of course, the doctor was telling me how fortunate I was to have survived because Aspirin could have killed me. It was no one’s fault that this happened to me. (: Thank goodness I had my inhaler with me and that actually stop the asthma attack. So, I am still here on Earth, alive! ^^

I did not attend school on Friday, as well as today. I am pretty glad that my eyes look normal now! ^^ If not I’ll never step out of the house again, hahaha! (:

From this incident, I have learnt a great deal of things. I questioned myself, what if I really died that night? What if I survived but I was disfigured? What if I went blind? What if and what if?

What if I died that night? I suppose everything is over. My family and friends would be so heartbroken. I would die with regrets too. I mean, I did not tell them how much I loved them before I die. I had not thanked them for showing care and concern towards me. They made a huge difference to my life. I really want to live with them, for as long as I could. Living is that important to me. I still want to see the world, explore the world and keep memories. I’ve got so many things to do and accomplish. Life is short, I want to make full use of it.

What if I survived but I was disfigured? Well, I guess I will be living in horror. It’s like, within a night, my appearance changed, totally. No one could recognize me, either could I. Initially I thought, I will never step out of the house ever again. Then I thought of those handicapped people, disfigured people, aren’t they living their lives as per normal? Even though people look at them with a different perspective, they still carried on well with their lives. I mean, like what people usually say, character is the most important, not the appearance. It’s so true. If people shun you because of your appearance, then they are not worth being your friends. I would say these people with such flaws have a great amount of courage that people like us, do not have. I truly admire their courage.

What if I became blind? Oh, when my eyes swell, there was this glue like liquid in my eyes. Sounds disgusting uh? My eyes felt pain and I couldn’t really open them up. I was so afraid I would go blind! I still want my eyesight, to see everything that’s around me. Imagine one day you lost your eyesight and you have to rely on your other 4 senses to do your usual routine, things would become so hard right? Future would look so bleak to you. I really admire those people who are blind, deaf and mute. They are so amazing. Look at the buskers on the streets, most of them are actually these people, with flaws but with extraordinary talents. *Salute them!*

What if and what if? Everything seems so negative. The message I want to get across is - treasure now, before you lose it. I am really fortunate not to lose anything, enen though Aspirin almost killed me but this really taught me a valuble lesson in life. Perhaps this post or I say, this short reflection of mine, may not change your thinking towards life, but trust me, once you have such a close encounter towards death or losing things that are important to you, you will get what I mean. I really hope this does make a difference to your life now! Treasure now, before you really lose it.

I love you, all those who have made a difference to my life. :’)

Oops, I mean belated.

My clique and I, planned a birthday celebration and post exams celebration at the House of Steamboat! (:

That day was the 20th, marked the day of the end of the promotional exams. However, we had PW (Project Work for A-levels) and so, the plan was a little delayed because everyone had to return home and do some preparation before coming.

For me, I rushed XiHuai’s present! It wasn’t on suppose that I did not finish it beforehand but due to examinations, I had no choice! Thank God, I finished part of it and so, I could complete it in time to meet the girls first.

Here is the end product and the process of doing.

The girls met up first at 6.20pm and head off to bugis first. Apparently, PW ended pretty late for come groups and most people were late! ( And all were the guys, except for XingHo. )

XingHo and I planned a surprise beforehand for XiHuai but it was a complete failure! XingHo lied to XiHuai that he will not be coming, but actually he was! I tried to block XiHuai’s view when I saw XingHo coming. However, I’m too small, I guess, I couldn’t block her view from XingHo. Oh well, I guess I’m a little small size! Haha! (:

We proceeded to the House of Steamboat together. That place was air-conditioned and the staffs were really super friendly people. We felt really weird at first, however, after a while, it feels like home to us! (: When we sat down, fried buns with condensed milk, spicy chicken and some spicy snacks welcomed us! :D I love the fried buns with condensed milk especially. (: They really made my day!

And so, together, we ordered our soup base and meat, and went to pick vegetables for our steamboat! We did not wait because we were all famished! There were free flow of drinks too, which we could enjoy while we steamboat! (:

I really love how steamboat brings the relationship of people, especially friends and family, closer!

Well, since this is the first entry of my blog, I should do a self-intro, right? *winks ;)*

My name is June.

I am called June not because I’m born in the month of June ( in fact I’m born in October ), but the fact that my Chinese name was pretty hard to pronounce and remember and tata!~ My friends came up with the name June.

I can say I am pretty cheerful, with smiles all day and being high most of the time. But beware! I can really go retarded and cranky like for no reason at anytime of the day! Hopefully that will not scare you off and you won’t stop reading my blog.

Let’s talk about my physical features.

I really love my eyes a lot. Yes, I mean a lot, even though I have severe dark eye rings and eyebags. My eyes are naturally brown, yay! No need for brown contacts! I love my double eyelids too! =)

My teeth are really crooked. That’s the reason why I just smile with my lips. I really wish someone could just sponsor me braces so that I can straighten my teeth!

I don’t have ear piercings! I mean that’s pretty good as I don’t need to spend money on earrings! (: However, I may just change my mind one day and decide to go for ear piercings. Earrings are really beautiful accessories that enhance your physical appearance. (:

I have natural waves on my hair! I really like it a lot now even though I used to dislike it a lot, heh! (: The bad thing is, it's quite frizzy and unkempt! Aww. Any sponsors for hair treatment? *hints! (:*

I am 1.63m tall. Perhaps that might be tall to you, or maybe short, but that’s the about the average height of girls in Singapore. I love wearing flats and slippers but of course, I wear heels because I love them too!

I have a chubby face and pretty fair skin. You may think I look cute or pretty, which I don't really think so, I’ll take that as a compliment, thank you! (: If you really think likewise, you could perhaps hire me to be a blogshop model, I wouldn’t mind because I can earn some experience! (: Haha, I sound so thick-skinned here! Oops! :') Of course, I have certain flaws on my face like dark eye rings and eyebags? (:

Well, it’s about me now.

I enjoy eating, really. I get hungry very easily too! Please don’t ask me if I diet because I don’t and I don’t encourage it. I have no methods to maintain my weight or to keep myself thin. Please do not envy me because I really spend a lot of money on food, I guess you would rather spend money shopping, that would be more realistic! I wish I could do that too! (:

I play the flute and that makes me a flautist. I joined my primary school band at primary 4 and continued my flute journey in secondary school and now, my college. I pick up things pretty slowly and so, I am not a professional. (:

My usual outfit is just a T-shirt and shorts! At times, I wear dresses too! (: And I love dresses to the max! :D Anyone want to buy some for me? *hints! (:*

I am a big fan of Hello Kitty. I just love them. They look so cute to me.
